Greenbank building on reputation for providing a solution

Everbuild - the largest independent manufacturer of sealants, adhesives, fillers and building chemicals in the UK and Ireland - produces 13 tonnes of waste a month from the packaging of its raw materials.
And until it installed a Greenbank paper baler, all of this was going to landfill and costing the Leeds-based company hundreds of pounds in skip emptying costs.
Now, the waste is turned into 26 huge bales a month which are then sent for recycling.
Everbuild's Environmental / Health and Safety Manager Dave Whitford said they were so pleased with the economic and environmental effects of the baler that they have ordered a second one.
"We have dealt with Greenbank in the past and knew that their products were good and their service efficient so we asked if they had a paper baler that would handle the amount of waste produced at the plant," said Dave.
"We wanted a specific machine for a specific use and they supplied it."
Robin Evershed, Greenbank's Sales Director, said his family-run business prided itself on offering a bespoke service to clients, be they huge concerns like Everbuild and Typhoo, high street names such as Dixons and John Lewis Partnership, independent schools wanting a safer and cleaner environment or smaller, one off requests.
"We sell a solution not just a machine," said Robin. "We have our own in-house design team that enables us to provide exactly what the customer needs. That, together with our after sales maintenance service, sets us apart from our competitors and it's good to know that our clients - such as Everbuild - recognise and appreciate this."
