Introducing the ladies of Greenbank
Our longest standing employees is Pauline Atkinson, she joined Greenbank over twenty years ago as our first female hire. Pauline is responsible for all admin duties and is an integral part of the team, although you won’t catch her anywhere near a camera.
Julie Barnes joined Greenbank 10 years later, she worked alongside Pauline in the admin department for nine years before recently joining the customer service team. Julie now works alongside Phil Jones and Elliot Graham, helping with the day to day running of the department.
Rose Jones joined us in 2011, as our domestic operative, she prides herself on making Greenbank a clean and pleasant environment for office staff and visitors.
Over the last 18 months Greenbank has hired an additional 7 employees, 5 of which were females. The waste industry is typically dominated by males, therefore we are delighted to have more females joining the Greenbank team.
Becca Northrop joined Greenbank as an Executive Assistant to the directors (Robin, Duncan and Steven), co-ordinating projects and helping deliver their vision for Greenbank. Becca is very organised and has a talent for suggesting improvements to make our processes more efficient.
Romie Johnston is Greenbank’s Accessories Manager, there’s not much she doesn’t know about waste equipment accessories! If you don’t want to take our word for it, watch out for our next blog post.
In January 2017, Nicola Jackson, joined Greenbank as a Management Accountant, she is currently studying towards her ACCA qualification, her training has brought a lot of innovative ideas to Greenbank. Nicola is a great asset to a fantastic team.
Laura Mohan joined Greenbank in May as our Marketing Executive, she is tasked with increasing Greenbank’s brand awareness, creating social media content and delivering a new website. If you see her posting on our social media networks, be sure to get involved (she won’t bite)!
The latest and youngest female employee to join Greenbank is Emily Hindley, Emily completed her work experience at Greenbank and from this was offered a full-time job role. She plays a vital role in supporting Account Manager, Murray Johnston whilst also identifying business opportunities.
