PCW8 Self Cleaning Compactor

Greenbank’s specially modified PCW8 self cleaning compactor is completely sealed as standard and also comes with a self-cleaning compaction blade

This helps to avoid the problems that arise in standard portable compactors such as leaking waste, rotting to the compactor floor and vermin visitors. The self-cleaning portable compactor is also available with a drainage point, this allows for the efficient and controlled draining of liquid from the compactor chamber if required.

This in turn reduces the pay load to land fill and enabled an increased volume of ‘real waste’ to be put in the compactor.

How to use: Step by step
  1. Load the waste: Open the loading door by releasing the latch and load the waste into the compactor chamber. Ensure that the waste is evenly distributed and does not exceed the compactor’s maximum capacity.
  2. Activate the machine: Close the loading door and ensure that it is securely latched. Press the compaction button to activate the machine.
  3. Repeat the process: Repeat the process until the compactor chamber is full. The self-cleaning feature will help to keep the compactor blade and chamber clean throughout the process.
  4. Drain the liquid: If required, use the drainage point to drain liquid from the compactor chamber. This will reduce the payload to the landfill and enable an increased volume of ‘real waste’ to be put in the compactor.
  5. Empty the compactor: When the compactor is full, it’s time to empty it. A recycler will collect the chamber and replace it with an empty one.
